Tron Legacy is an upcoming 2010 American Science fiction film produced by the Walt Disney Pictures which is centered on the story of a father and son who embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous. The movie is a sequel of the 1982 film “Tron”. The film features Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), a rebellious 27-year-old tech-savvy who becomes troubled by the mysterious disappearance of his father, Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), a highly popular man who is once known as the world’s leading video-game developer. Kevin started off as a young computer game creator and programmer. Eventually, he became the CEO of ENCOM International and creator of the popular arcade game TRON. He disappeared in 1989 while developing what he called “a digital frontier that will remodel the human condition”.
On that same year, Sam was brought to live with his grandparents. 20years after, Sam receives a strange signal from the old Flynn’s arcade, which he suspects was sent by his father. While investigating the signal, he was accidentally pulled into the same digital world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father was living for already 20 years. In there Sam was able to discover and was amazed to see never before imagined vehicles, weapons and landscapes. However, a ruthless villain is also inside the cyber universe and this evil guy will do everything just to prevent Sam and Kevin’s escape.
